He Is Lord

Scripture Readings

In Revelation 20:11, it says, “Then I saw a great white throne and him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them”

As I read these words, my mind went to Colossians 1:15-18 which reads, “And he is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he himself will come to have first place in everything.”

This is a very good reminder for all of us. A lot of people live as if God and Satan are equal and we are not sure who is going to win in the end. This is absolutely not the case. In the above verse from Revelation, Jesus is so great, so incredible, so Holy, so pure, so righteous, that heaven and earth have to flee because they can’t be in his presence. All things were made by him, for him, and through him. He is LORD of all creation. He is not there to help us, when we need it. He is in us to live His life, the Father’s will, through us. There is nothing that can stop Him or get in His way. He is LORD.

In all of life’s circumstances, whether they look good or bad, whether we feel good or bad, he is LORD. He is accomplishing the Father’s will in our lives. Instead of looking at circumstances, and feelings, ask Him, what He is doing in you, and you will hear a positive response. It will change how you view the situation because he will give you a new perspective. He is good, and good is done in all situations because he is good, and LORD of the situation.

Please, always remember who God is, and who he is in you, and there will be much rejoicing and laughter in all situations. Yay God!!
